Being a student is quite a bit of work, but one thing that’s hard to beat is the constant stream of new knowledge one comes in contact with.

Over the course of talking to friends and people who have stopped being students, what I found was a certain amount of interest in just new interesting bits of knowledge, whether a new fact, or some rather esoteric theory that could only be discovered by reading a journal article.

Well, as part of my work as a student, I have to read all these things, and there seems to be at least some sort of audience for this sort of thing, hence. what we have here is, the academiblog!

To the best of my ability, at best daily, though probably less often because my dedication would wane, I’ll put something interesting that I had managed to learn today. It might be the topic of my latest assignment, a reading that I had to do that had some spiffy ideas, a random fact from the web, whatever floats my boat at the time.

However, before I go on, there will have to be a disclaimer from me.

After all, I’m in the process of learning the very things I’m writing about, therefore my interpretations and characterizations are probably flawed in some way. So, take whatever I write here with a big chunk of salt. I can’t even say I would be able to post corrections or follow-ups, so just do some thinking for yourself. =)
